Fills
Note: Basic fill tool set is available from the Fills group, on the Format tab. An additional fill tool set is
available by clicking the dialog button in the lower right corner of the Fills group.
Basic Solid Color Fill
Select the element you want to fill with color.
Choose a color, from the Fills group, on the Format tab. Click the down arrow to view more solid color fill
options.
Click Transparent Fill to clear the fill of the selected layout or element.
To choose a color that is not offered in the Fills color palette, see Create Custom Colors .
Note: To add the same fill to multiple elements, click the first element, then press and hold the Control
button on your computer's keyboard while you click the other elements.
Dialog Solid Color Fill
Select the element you want to fill with color.
Click the dialog button to reach the additional solid color fill tool set.
