Indicator Lights
Control Enclosure
There is a green LED power indicator on the bottom of the control enclosure. This indicates
whether there is power feeding the control enclosure properly. The indicator stays lit when
there is power; otherwise, it will be off.
Announcer’s Rack
Refer to the troubleshooting section of a specific announcer’s rack manual for more
information about the indicator lights.
Fiber Conversion Box
Within the fiber conversion box, indicator lights on the equipment help verify proper
connection with sound cabinet.
The media converter (part # A-2580) has two LED indicators of importance, as shown in
Figure 23.
1) P1 LED will illuminate amber to indicate fiber conversion box has power.
2) Port 1 (100M) will flash green to indicate a functional connection between the fiber
conversion box and control enclosure. Each Ethernet jack also has an LED that
should illuminate green when a plug is inserted.
Refer to the specific equipment manuals in Appendix B for additional troubleshooting help.
