The following is a description of the CADAC options available in the Séance box. They
are only displayed if the level clearance option is set to CADAC. If the level clearance
is set to operator or debug then these options will not be available. They are primarily
used to set the Séance program to work with the hardware.
WARNING! Altering these options can cause the Séance box
to stop functioning.
CS8900 flag on/off
This option indicates the Ethernet chip-set is Crystal 8900
Maximum message size10000
This option defines the maximum Ethernet message block size.
IRQ number5
Fast comms interface irq number.
Fast comms i/o port$382
This is the i/o base address for the séance i/o ports.
Screen timeout15000
This is the number of seconds before the LCD backlight power saving times-out.
Printer port debugoff/on
This option enables various system timing signals to appear on the printer port.
Ghostly presenceoff/on
This enables next and previous cue recalls.
Poltergeist presenceoff/on
This enables test dummy ethernet messages.
Keep aliveoff/on
This option enables the keep alive messages between SAM and Séance, which are
used to light the present indicators.
