Set up the IP address by clicking on TCP/IP protocol, see

fig 2-15

followed by the

properties button, to display the dialogue box in

fig 2-17

. Click on Specify an IP ad-

dress and enter the PC’s IP address and Subnet mask.

WARNING: Do not add leading zeros into the IP address and Subnet mask fields (i.e.
input 194.222.33.11 not 194.222.033.011). If this is not observed, the computer will
not communicate.
