• BrightSign Network Manager: This is a web-based solution that is designed for enterprise
situations with a large number of BrightSign devices that require advanced networking
features including:
• Reporting: Track all BrightSign devices including the latest connectivity data, CF/SD card
size, and current and upcoming presentations.
• Unit Organization: Create groups and deploy content very quickly to one or more groups.
• Scheduling: Pick the dates and times you want to deploy content to each group.
• Content Organization: Upload audio, video, and image files to a central library for easy
access.
• Presentation Creating: Use a graphical interface to build playlists (with or without zones).
NOTE:
To use BrightSign Network Manager, you must first establish a network account with
BrightSign.
Using the NetworkTimer keyword
When using the Simple Networking method, you need to add a NetworkTimer keyword to your
playlists. You can use the NetworkTimer keyword with an RSS feed or the automatic content
download feature. The NetworkTimer keyword can take the following forms:
• NetworkTimerPeriodic: Instructs BrightSign to check your network folder at regular
intervals. For example, you can update an RSS feed every 15 minutes. The syntax is as follows:
