7.3.1 Inserting the locating pins
CAUTION
Damage due to unwanted movements of the carriage
If the carriage is already mounted, move it to one end of the track and secure it to prevent
unwanted movements.

Locating pins
The locating pins may not extend any more than 3.3 mm above the machine bed.
Mount the magnetic plate on the support surface of the track, making sure that the support surface is free
from dust and particles.
1. Manufacture the positioning holes (2) in the machine bed (1) analogous to the 5 mm positioning holes
(4) in the magnetic plate (3).
2. Insert the locating pins (2) into the positioning holes (2) in the machine bed (1).
3. Manufacture the tapped holes (5) analogous to the mounting holes (6) in the magnetic plate (3).
