Installation
NOTE: Remove the protective film from the door before installing.
NOTE: Some older models may have brass trim. On these appliances we recommend removing the trim, re-
surfacing it with the provided scotch brite pad, and painting with Stove Bright ® Metallic Black Paint (6309).
Disassemble the door handle assembly and attach it to the door, placing four (4) washers on the inside and the one
(1) painted washer on the outside (see illustration below). Place the door on the appliance and open and close the
door several times to flatten the gasket. Test the door cam operation. If the cam is too loose, you may wish to
remove one washer from the inside.
Brushed Aluminum Cleaning
The brushed aluminum surface of the door may require periodic cleaning. With the door (and appliance) fully cool,
use the included scotch brite pad to clean the surface. Make sure to brush the surface in a horizontal direction with
the grain of the brush-marks. This will insure a uniform appearance and clean any marks on the door.
