TV Mode

3.3.3.2.2.4.- DVB-S

This function carries out the measurements of a digital

DVB-S

signal. The information window

is identical to that of the

DVB-C

and

DVB-T

. The following sub-menu appears on selecting this

function:

- DVB-S measures -

The measures available for a

DVB-S

are:

Power, C/N, CBER, VBER and MER

3.3.3.2.2.4.1.- Parameters

The possible parameters that may be selected for a

DVB-S

signal are as follows:

Bandwidth

(from 2.0 to 40.0 MHz and AUTO),

Symbol velocity

(AUTO, 27500, 24500, 22000, 15000,

OTHER) and

Code Rate

(AUTO, 1/2, 2/3, 3/4, 5/6, 7/8). The parameters are selected in the same

way as previously.

- DVB-S Parameter Options-

Selection of the AUTO mode is recommended for all the parameters. The DVB-S signal will
hook up almost immediately.
