11.3.1 Changing the Controller Name (Name)
If you use several controllers in a network, it is essential that the controllers have different
names. Otherwise, the controllers cannot be addressed in the network. You can choose any
name you wish.
You can change the name as follows:
1. Open the device window.
2. Click on Device » Name.
3. Enter the new name.
4. Click on OK.
11.3.2 Changing Passwords (Passwords)
You can change the passwords as follows:
1. Open the device window.
2. In the device window, click on Device » Passwords.
3. Enter the administrator password.
4. Select the password that you want to change.
5. Enter the new password.
11.3.3 Changing the User Group (Device Mode)
With this function, you can choose which permission mode is effective if the device is not
controlled using the software. The current mode is shown in the middle area of the device
window under 'Mode:'.
You can set the mode as follows:
1. In the device window, click on Device » DeviceMode. Select the desired mode.
