3.1 PHYSICAL MOUNTING

Never install the tension meter in the following locations:
• Locations subject to direct sunlight
• Locations subject to being splashed with water
• Locations with high humidity
• Locations subject to violent vibrations
• Locations containing corrosive atmospheres
• Locations with excessive dust

3.1.1 TM310T M

ounTing

The TM310T Tension Meter is mounted on a DIN rail.

To attach the TM340 to the DIN rail:
Place the back clip of the unit above the rail as shown in
Figure 3.1, and slide the unit onto the rail with moderate
pressure so that the unit snaps into place.

To remove the unit from the din rail:
Pull the bottom tab locking the unit onto the Rail while lifting
the unit up and lightly pulling to remove from the rail.

3.1.2

TM340 M

ounTing

The TM340 is mounted in a panel and held in place by
included mounting screws.

1. Place the TM340 into the opening on the panel prepared

for the TM340 using the cutaway dimensions as
specified in the dimensional drawings in Section 3.2.
(See Figure 3.2)

2. Place the screw inside the screw mounting brackets

and slide the screw mounting brackets securely into
the TM340. (See Figure 3.3)

3. Using a screw driver, tighten the mounting screws on

the top and bottom of the unit. (See Figure 3.4.)
