Watching Live TV

When you’re watching a program as it’s broadcast, you’re watching live TV. To go to live
TV at any time, press the LIVE TV button on your remote. You can also select Watch
Live TV from DIRECTV Central. If you’ve used the pause, rewind, slow, or instant replay
features and are “behind” live TV, press ADVANCE to catch up.

Changing Channels

There are several ways to change channels:

• Use the Guide. Tired of channel surfing? Press GUIDE to bring up the Advanced

Program Guide

. Use the arrow buttons to highlight a program that’s on now and

press SELECT. The channel changes to that program.

• Use the Number Pad.
