To make ad justment to the PEDAL CON TR OLLER S follow these steps:

The "Ped al Contr oller s" function allows for specific UTOPIA G20 0 B ad justable par ameter s to be
mapped (or assigned) to three available assignments:
1) PARAMETER ADJUST knob (ADJ)
2) The built-in EXPR ESSION PEDAL (IPED - inter nal ped al)
3) The built-in EXPR ESSION PEDAL FOOTSWITCH (IPSW - Ped al/Footswitch)
These controllers will allow for real-time control over the selected parameter.
PARAMETER ADJUST knob (ADJ).
The "ADJ" selection in PEDAL CON TR OLLER S section option lets y ou assign the PAR AMETER
ADJUST knob for "quick ad just". Many people use this contr ol as a Master volume, but y ou can assign
this to any of the G20 0 B's par ameter s. The d efault setting of this contr oller is mapped to MASTER
VOLUME.
EXPRESSION PEDAL (IPED) - internal pedal
The IPED selection in the PEDAL CONTROLLERS section options lets you assign up to three different
par ameter s that can be ad justed in r eal time by the built-in EXPR ESSION PEDAL . Many people use
this for wah, volume, pitchshift and other effects.
EXPRESSION PEDAL FOOTSWITCH (IPSW - internal pedal footswitch)
The ISPW selection in the PEDAL CONTROLLERS section options lets you assign up to three different
par ameter s that can be ad justed in r eal time by the built-in EXPR ESSION PEDAL FOOTSWITCH. The
default setting is mapped *Wah On, but it is Off. *Unless preset name relates to WAH then the switch
will activate the WAH.
All of these PEDAL CON TR OLLER S let y ou stor e an "upper " and "lower " par ameter value limit which
the controller cannot exceed. For example, when using the expression pedal to send continuous control
changes to contr ol the "PITCH" par ameter , an upper limit of +30 0 can be set and a lower limit of -
20 0 can be set — even though the actual par ameter r ange available is fr om +120 0 to -240 0 . When the
expr ession ped al is at its heel position in this example, the "PITCH" par ameter will be at -20 0 , while at
its toe position it will be at +300. Up to three controllers can be assigned for each individual preset.
