Attaching the Horizontal Stabilizer
1. Locate the horizontal stab of the tail.
2. Slide the horizontal tail stab through the allotted space
in the fuselage, making sure the control horn attached
to the horizontal tail stab will properly align with pushrod
and clevis exiting the back of the fuselage.
3. When you are certain the tail is centered correctly, use
the provided clear tape to properly secure the tail to the
fuselage, as shown. Use the tape on the top and bottom
of each side of the tail (total of 4 applications).
4. Make sure that the throttle slider is all the way down, in
the “off” position. Turn on the transmitter and plug in the
flight battery. Make sure the trim levers and control
stick are centered.
5. Locate where the clevis and rod exit the fuselage, and
attach the clevis to control surface as shown.
6. Make necessary trim adjustments prior to flight. See
step 5 for instructions on how to do this.
Center of Gravity Information
The CG locations for the Spitfire will be the following:
The center of gravity (CG) of the ParkZone Spitfire Mk IIB
is approximately +/– 67mm behind the leading edge of the
wing for the stock 10.8V Ni-MH battery and +/– 70mm for
an optional 11.1V 3S Li-Po battery.
You can confirm the CG by placing your fingers on the
bottom of the wing and balancing it while it is inverted.

1. Préparer le stabilisateur horizontal.
2. Glisser le stabilisateur dans son logement sur le fuselage et vérifier que le guignol de la gouverne est correctement
aligné avec la commande de profondeur provenant du fuselage.
3. Quand le stabilisateur est correctement installé, le fixer avec le ruban adhésif fourni. Placer un morceau de chaque
côté du fuselage et sur chaque face du stabilisateur (soit 4 morceaux au total).
4. Vérifier que le levier des gaz est vers le bas avant de mettre l’émetteur sous tension et de connecter la batterie de
propulsion. Vérifier que les leviers de commande et de trim sont au neutre.
5. Connecter la chape de la commande de profondeur sur le guignol de la gouverne comme indiqué.
6. Si nécessaire, parfaire le réglage à l’aide du trim avant de voler (voir stade 5).
Information sur le Centre de Gravité
La position du centre de gravité du Spitfire est la suivante:
Il doit se trouver environ 67 mm derrière le bord d’attaque de l’aile avec une batterie de propulsion Ni-Cd de 10,8V ou 70
mm pour une batterie Li-Po 3S de 11,1V.
Vous pouvez vérifier la position du CG en tenant le modèle par-dessous avec deux doigts pour confirmer son équilibre.
Attaching the Wing
In order to attach the wing of your Spitfire Mk IIB, please
follow these simple instructions:
1. Locate the included wing screws (in clear plastic bag).
2. Plug in the aileron servo lead from the wing into the
aileron extension. This is very important, as the ailerons
will be reversed if this is not done.
3. Carefully attach the wing to the fuselage. Use 3 screws
to secure the wing as shown.

Pour fixer l’aile de votre Spitfire Mk IIB, suivre les instructions ci-dessous :
1. Préparer les 3 vis de fixation de l’aile (plastique clair).
2. Connecter le câble du servo aileron venant de l’aile sur la rallonge. Ceci est très important pour un fonctionnement
correct des ailerons.
3. Placer l’aile sur le fuselage et la fixer à l’aide des 3 vis comme indiqué.

1. Encuentre los tornillos de las alas que vienen incluidos (bolsa de plástico transparente).
2. Conecte el conductor del servo del alerón del ala en la extensión del alerón. Esto es muy importante, ya que los
alerones se irán hacia atrás si no lo conecta de esta forma.
3. Monte el ala al fuselaje con cuidado. Utilice los 3 tornillos proporcionados para asegurar el ala como se muestra.
Per fissare l’ala dello Spitfire Mk IIB basta seguire queste semplici istruzioni:
1. Reperire le viti dell’ala (nel sacchetto trasparente).
2. Collegare il cavo del servo degli alettoni dell’ala nella prolunga. Questo è molto importante altrimenti, se non si
collega, il movimento risulta invertito.
3. Fissare l’ala alla fusoliera con attenzione. Usare le 3 viti di fissaggio come illustrato.
