Check Hitch Bolts
Check that trailer hitch bolts are properly
tightened. Torque varies by trailer model. Refer to
“Specifications” beginning on page 99.
Check Hydraulic Brake Actuator Bolts
Check hydraulic brake actuator bolts. Tighten if
loose.

Trailer Check torque of hitch bolts 200 ft•lb (271 N•m)
Check hydraulic brake actuator bolts If equipped
Check hydraulic brake fluid level If equipped; DOT 3 or 4
Check trailer battery
Check tire pressure and lug nut torque
