OPTION BOARD

RMD-V3020 (VARIABLE SCAN BOARD)

1. Features

(1) Large-screen computer images

By adding the optional RMD-V3020 (variable scan
board)* to the RMD-V3104U, computer screen images

can be displayed in 4 screens ( 2 x 2 screens).

(2) Compatible Computer Models

Compatible models include major computers now on

the market, for example the NEC PC-9800 series®, IBM

PC (DOSA/) in VGA mode, and the Apple/Macintosh®

series.

(3) Other functions

- Luminance signal

............. The brightness and contrast can beadjusted.

* Color difference signals {R-Y, B-Y)

2. Specifications RMD-V3020 (Variable scan

board)

The board electrical specifications are based on the

main unit specifications.

- Input video signals

Analog R/G/B signals, 0.7 Vp-p (75ii terminated).
After conversion to the Y, R-Y and B-Y signals, each of

these signals can be adjusted independently.

• Input sync signals

HA^ separate....... TTL level

Composite............0.3 to 4 Vp-p, negative logic

G On Sync (Sync On Green)

............................ 1.0 Vp-p (75ii), sync component 0.3

Vp-p (HA/ separate signals are given

priority in case of simultaneous
inputs.)

The sync priority is H, V > CS > G On Sync.

■ Input level adjustment items

Y signal brightness, R/G/B signals, gain adjustment

R-Y signal... R-Y cutoff level adjustment
B-Y signal... B-Y cutoff level adjustment

• Tracking adjustment

Tracking (clock phase) can be adjusted.

• Built-in synchronizer

When the option board is combined with the RMD-
V3104U, the board synchronizes with other input
signals.

• Display range switching

® When the vertical interpolation filter is OFF

With models with 480 V lines

mode, Macintosh®>, the upper and lower parts of

the screen are cut on the screen.

(D When the vertical interpolation filter is ON

The number of vertical lines of the above mentioned

models is converted so the entire image can be

displayed on the screen.
