Performance Analysis
The­performance­data­for­the­Accu-Chek­Aviva­Combo­System­(Accu-Chek­Aviva­Combo­Meter­with­
Accu-Chek­Aviva­Test­Strips)­were­obtained­using­capillary­blood­from­diabetic­patients­(method­comparison,­
accuracy),­venous­blood­(repeatability),­and­control­solution­(reproducibility).­The­system­is­calibrated­with­
venous­blood­containing­various­levels­of­glucose.­The­reference­values­are­obtained­using­the­hexokinase­
method.­For­method­comparison,­the­results­were­compared­with­results­obtained­using­the­hexokinase­
method­with­deproteinization­(automatic­analyzer).­The­hexokinase­method­is­traceable­to­an­NIST­standard.­
