COUCHING

Novel effects are obtained by couching gimp,

yarn or braid with stiidi patterns.

Spaced patterns are the most appropriate as

they allow the decorative cords to show as part
of the design.

The Special Purpose Foot is ideally suited to

this work.

lACB EDGING AND INSERTION

Delicate and durable zigzag stitching is espe

cially appropriate for the application of lace

edgings and insertions.

Many decorative stitch patterns can be used

effectively serving as both finish and trim.
