TREADLE INFORMATION

To Replace Belt

Remove arm top cover as instructed on page 94.

Insert end of belt into cutout A and lead to top

so that it enters groove in hand wheel.

Lead belt around hand wnneel and down through

treadle belt idler pullev bracket B,

Lead belt through guide C, around band w'heel

and into eye of belt shifter D.

Join both ends of belt. (Tension on belt should

be only heavy enough to keep belt from slipping.)

Replace arm top cover.

Operate treadle as instructed on pages 8 and 9.
