When a standard Straight Stitch is sewn on stretch fabric, it can “pop” or

break when the fabric is stretched. Stretch Stitches or Flexi-stitches allow

for “no-pop” sewing on stretch fabrics. Stretch fabrics are used to make

exercise outfits, dance costumes, swimsuits and much more. As the fab

rics of these garments stretch, so do the stitches!
