7. For the Login and the screens that follow refer to the section of this document titled

“Network Setup via RTH.” On the RTH the logged in user can use the Wi-Fi touch button
to see the addition setting required to connect via the laptop or iPad.

Note: The RTP settings are required to connect a laptop or iPad to the RTP. The RTH Setup
screen is a preferred method to verify a RTP-100 connection before attempting to connect
via laptop or iPad.

Connection to the RTP-100 via Wi-Fi

Each device and operating system has a different procedure to connect to a Wi-Fi access point. If you do not know
how to connect to a non-broadcasting Wi-Fi network using an entered SSID, consult your operating system’s help.
Since the RTP doesn’t broadcast its SSID, the user will have to enter this information in order to setup a Wi-Fi
connection. As an example, on the Windows 7 computer the user will activate the wireless icon in the system tray
and select Other Network option from the popup menu. An option check box for connect automatically should be
unchecked and then proceed by clicking the connect button. The user will be prompted to enter a network name;
this is where the SSID value is entered. From the RTH the passcode will be used for the security key prompt. This
network should be classified as Public Place, since it is a location that the computer will not be connecting to.

Once your laptop or iPad is connected via Wi-Fi to the RTP, follow these steps to access the RTP Technician
Configuration tool:

1. On the Laptop or iPad launch the web browser

(Internet Explorer, Fire Fox, or Safari).

2. In the URL field enter 192.168.33.1.
3. Click the Login Button.
4. The Login button will not prompt for a passcode if the

RTP-100 admin passcode is set to “0000”. Note that
when RTP-100 is shipped, it is configured with an assigned passcode.

5. On a successful login, the RTP Setup page will be displayed in the browser. The RTP-100 menu item is selected

and displays options for setting up Ethernet, Wireless, Location, and Passcode settings. The Log Out button
simply returns you back to the Login screen.
