Typical Variable Sample Counting Operation
1. Use
the
SCALE SELECT key and ZERO key to zero all available scales.
2.
Place a known number of items to be sampled onto the sample scale.
3.
Enter the number of items using 0 – 9 and COUNT keys. When the known
sample size is entered press the COUNT key. The indicator will sample the
pieces: switch to the count scale, and display the count.
4.
If a container is needed to hold items being counted, then place it onto the count
scale and press the TARE key.
5.
Place all items to be counted onto the count scale. The indicator will display the
total number of items.
6. Press
the
PRINT key to output the specified output format.
7. Press
the
RESET key to return to the Weigh Mode.
Typical Reverse Sample Counting Operation
1. Use
the
SCALE SELECT key and ZERO key to zero scale used for reverse
sampling.
2.
Place all items to be counted onto the scale.
3.
If a container is used to hold items being counted, then enter the tare weight of
the container using the 0-9, and BS (←) keys. When the desired tare weight is
entered press the TARE key.
4. Press
the
0 key, followed by the COUNT key.
5.
Remove a known number of items from the scale.
6.
Enter the number of items removed using 0-9, and BS keys. When the number of
items removed is entered, press the COUNT key. The indicator will sample the
removed pieces and display the count.
7.
Place all items to be counted onto the scale. The indicator will display the total
number of items.
8. Press
the
PRINT key to output the specified output format.
9. Press
the
RESET key to return to the Weigh Mode.
