Insert the BJ Print Head into the BJ Print Head holder.
Lower the lock lever until you hear it lock.
Install the ink tanks in the new BJ Print Head.
• You can install new ink tanks or remove the ink tanks from the old
BJ Print Head and install them in the new BJ Print Head.
• Install ink tanks as soon as you remove them from their package, or
from the old BJ Print Head. If an ink tank dries out, it cannot be
used.
• Replacing an ink tank (P.74)
Close the front cover.
• The print head holder returns to the home position and print head
cleaning starts automatically. The POWER/ERROR lamp flashes for
about 1 minute until print head cleaning is finished.
• Always align the print head after replacing the BJ Print Head.
• To align the print head correctly, you will need one sheet of High
Resolution Paper.
