Before Calling Service Personnel
Check the following guide for the possible cause of a problem before contacting service.

playback pictures. • The copy protection is in effect. • Connect the DVD video player directly to
the TV. Avoid connecting the DVD video
player to a VCR or TVA/CR combination.

not start playback.
• No disc is inserted. • Insert a disc. (Check that the DVD
indicator or VIDEO CD/audio CD indicator
in the DVD display is lit.)
