6. If you are not replacing the old expansion
card with a new expansion card, reinstall the
expansion slot cover to close the open slot.
Insert the metal slot cover into the opened slot,
and screw a screw into the top of the cover to
secure it in place.
To Install an Expansion Card
1. If you are replacing or adding a new
expansion card, either the 6000 or 8000
model, align the edge of the expansion card
with the slot on the chassis and gently but
firmly press the card straight down into the
expansion slot. The whole connector should be
seated properly in the expansion slot.
