Connection Status

In the Router Status screen, click the Connection Status button:

Connection Time

. The time elapsed since the last connection to the Internet through the

Internet port.

Connection Status

. The connection status.

Negotiation

. On or Off.

Authentication

. On or Off.

IP Address

. The IP address assigned to the WAN port by the ISP.

Subnet Mask

. The network mask assigned to the WAN port by the ISP.

Name (SSID)

. The Wi-Fi network name (service set ID) for the wireless network.

Region

. The country where the unit is set up for use.

Channel

. The current channel, which determines the operating frequency.

Mode

. The current Mbps setting.

Wireless AP

. Indicates if the access point feature is enabled. If disabled, the Wireless LED

on the front panel is off.

Broadcast Name

. Indicates if the modem router is configured to broadcast its SSID.

Wireless Isolation

. If this is on, wireless computers or devices that join the network can use

the Internet but cannot access each other or access Ethernet devices on the network

Wi-Fi Protected Setup

. Shows whether WPS is configured on this network.

Allow guest to access My Local Network

. If this is on, then people who use your guest

network can access equipment on your network, not just the Internet connection.
