Vinyl Rafter Assembly

Insert the end of the vinyl rafter marked ‘A’ into a joiner. Install
the joiners so that the side with the four holes is facing up. Push
firmly so the extrusion bottoms out inside the joiner.
Insert one steel stiffener (with steel block facing up), into the
lower pocket of the vinyl rafter. Push until steel block hits
internal ribbing.
Slide the other end of vinyl rafter marked ‘A’ over the steel insert and
into the joiner to create one full rafter. Repeat as necessary.
Screw the joiner to the vinyl rafters and steel inserts using 1 1/2”
screws. The bottom and top holes will need to be pre-drilled
(use drill bit provided).
