Automatic Dialing
This feature provides one- or two-button speed dialing using programmable buttons
at which you have previously stored numbers. There are two types of speed dial
numbers: (1) numbers that you store for your own use (personal speed dial numbers,
autodial numbers), and (2) numbers that the system attendant stores for everyone’s
use (system speed dial numbers).
· To automatically dial an autodial number from one of the
programmable buttons on your station, choose one of the
following:
1. PRESS programmed autodial button (line selection is usually a part
of the stored speed dial number).
2. PRESS
SHIFT AND programmed autodial button (to choose
number stored as second choice at that button).
· To dial a personal speed dial number,
1. While on hook; DIAL speed dial number on dial pad (
0
to
9
).
· To dial a system speed dial number,
1. While on hook, DIAL

AND system speed dial number. IF your
system requires manual line selection, PRESS
HOLD before the
speed dial numbers.
NOTE: If you manually choose a line for dialing, press
HOLD before using a speed
dial. If you place a call on hold prior to using your speed dial, pause several
seconds before you press the speed dial button; if you immediately press the
speed dial button, the system will choose the line that you have on hold to place
your speed dial call.
