Pre-Installation

Placing the TV

• Select a position for the TV near a power outlet and if possible away

from direct sunlight or intense room lighting which will tend to reduce
the clarity of the picture.

• Place the TV on a solid base (e.g. a TV/video cabinet)

• Leave at least 3 cm around each side of the TV for ventilation.

• Do not place the TV set near a radiator or other sources of heat.

• Do not expose the TV set to rain or excessive moisture.

Power Connection

IMPORTANT:

Please refer to the section on Specifications for the correct mains

voltage. (Consult your dealer if the mains supply is different.)

• Connect the TV to the mains supply socket.

Antenna Connection

If the indoor aerial is used, attach it to the TV at the mounting socket on

the backcover and then connect the aerial plug to the antenna socket nr

at the back of the TV.

Connect the aerial plug to the antenna socket nr at the rear of the TV.

Battery Installation

To insert batteries in the remote control handset:

• Remove the battery cover at the back of the remote control handset by

lifting up in the direction of the arrow.

• Insert the two batteries (Type AAA, 1.5 V) into the battery holder as

indicated.

• Replace the battery cover.

Note : To avoid damage from possible battery leakage, remove the

batteries for extended unused period.
