6. Switching to 'Stand-by' mode
The TV can be put into 'Stand-by' mode in the following two ways.
A. Directly
• Press the (1) button. The RED lamp below the TV
screen is lighted and the TV is put into 'Stand-by'
mode.
or
B. Automatically
Approximately 10 minutes after a TV station stops
transmission or at no signal reception, then the TV
switches itself automatically to 'Stand-by' mode.
7. Displaying OSD
The 'On-Screen-Display' ( OSD ) allows you to see the channel number on which a TV station is stored and
also the sleeptimer and bassboost selections.
• Press the [±l button once to display the channel
number.
• Press the [+1 button twice to display the sleeptimer
and bassboost.
• Press the CD button again to switch off the
displayed information.

8. Personal Preference (PP)
If adjustments had been made to the picture and
sound settings, it is possible to recall the stored
settings either from your own or fixed ideal
preferences.
A. Recalling Personal Preference (PP)
• Press the PP button once to reset the picture and
sound settings to the one you have stored previously.
(Refer to Menu Operation on storing of personal
preference.)

B. Recalling Fixed Ideal Picture
Reference (NORMAL)
• Press the PP button once more will enable you to
reset the picture and sound to the fixed ideal picture
settings and is indicated by the word NORMAL.
9. Dynamic Bass Boost (DBB)
This feature enable you to enhance the amplification of the bass.
Press the DBB button to switch on or off the
amplification.
