General Information
Congratulations on purchasing your new Philips colour TV set. It has been designed and tested to the highest
standards and will provide quality picture and sound for your enjoyment. If you follow these operating
instructions you will quickly learn how to adjust and operate all the functions of your new TV set; but always
read and perform the instructions in the sequence shown.
IMPORTANT:
Switch off your TV overnight via the POWER ON/OFF button instead of leaving it on stand
by. You save energy and the Picture Tube is demagnetised which supports good picture
quality.
When the set is switched on, do not shift or move the set around. Also sometimes it may
develops an unevenness in colour in some parts of the screen. This can be eliminated by
switching off the set with the mains power button and wait for 10 minutes before
switching on again. If symptom still exists, call for service.
