Press the button once during playback to skip backward to the beginning of
the current track. Press the button repeatedly to skip backward to lower
numbered tracks. Release the button when the desired track number appears in
the display and playback will begin on that track.
High Speed Music Search
During playback press and hold the or buttons to move forward or
backward through a track at high speed to locate or repeat a specific musical
passage. Release the buttons when you reach the desired point and normal
playback will resume at that point.
NOTE: The playback volume is automatically reduced to a low level during high
speed music search.
Random Playback
When Random Playback feature is activated the tracks on the disc are played
back in random order.
NOTE: Random Playback can only be selected while the CD player is stopped.
• If the disc is playing press the STOP button to stop playback.
• Press the REPEAT/PROG button on the main
unit, or the REP/PGM button on the remote
control, one time. The RND (Random) indicator
appears in the display.
• Press the (Play/Pause) button to begin Random Playback. All tracks will be
played in random order, then the player stops and the display shows the total
tracks and playing time on the disc. (After 1 minute the power shuts of
automatically.)
• To cancel Random Playback before all tracks have played, press the STOP
button.
