Recording tapes
You can record tapes from any.sourc.e connected to,,
. your system: CDs, other tapes, records (if you've
connected a record player), the tuner, and even, the
audio portion of videotapes or laser discs.(if you have
these components connected). .

Selling the recording level and
balance
Setting the proper recording level is an important part of
making good tapes. If the. recording leyeLis too Ipvyi tape
hiss may mask the music’s sp^fter parts. If the recording ,
level is too.high, the music may sound distorted These .
instructions help you set the optimum recording level. ,

2 Press the MODE' button to'select^theAecording level _
