TELEPHONE
OPERATION
An incoming or outgoing call can be temporarily placed on hold. No
sound can be heard through the handset by either party.
To Place Call on Hold:
1. Inform other party you are placing them on hold.
2. Press HO/-D button.
LINE IN USE
indicator will
blink red.
3. Hang up the
HANDSET
or place it on the table beside the
telephone.
To Take a Call off Hold:
1. If you left the
HANDSET
in the
CRADLE,
pick up the
HANDSET
at this phone or any extension and the call is off hold.
2. If you placed the
HANDSET
beside the telephone, press the
HOLD
button and the call is off hold.
The momentary press of the
FLASH
button allows enhanced
features provided by the telephone company, such as call waiting, to
be used. If you subscribe to any of these services, refer to the
telephone company’s instruction on use.
