APPENDIX: REFERENCE
Back Panel
CH3 CH4 switch
Selects the VCR signal channel. This is the
channel the TV must tune to in order to see the VCR's images.
Necessary if connecting the VCR using one of the basic hookups.
AUDIO (L and R) and VIDEO IN Jacks
Receives signals from
another component (like a VCR or camcorder) when it is
connected to the VCR with these jacks. Use INPUT on the VCR's
remote control to select LI (Line Input). Hi-Fi or mono signals as
well as video can be recorded when the external device is
connected to the VCR with these jacks.
AUDIO (L and R) and VIDEO OUT Jacks
Sends signals from
VCR to another component (like a TV or VCR) when connected to
a TV using these jacks.
ANT IN jack
Receives a signal through a coaxial cable from an
antenna or cable system when attached with this jack.
OUT TO TV jack
Passes a broadcast signal to a TV when connected
using the coaxial cable supplied.
