5.7 Why to update the Maps
The efficiency of the navigator in calculating the
best route depends on the quality of cartographic
data. The higher the level of coverage, the richer
the content, the better your navigation experience.
The street network undergoes continuous changes,
thus old maps are the most common cause of the
bad functioning of the navigator and may cause
consequently delays and detours.
For this reason it is highly recommended to update
the map once a year.
Attention : AvMap constantly buys Navteq new data,
but it has no control on the status of the updates and
their correspondence the current situation. AvMap
does not guarantee that recent changes in the street
network are immediately corrected in the Navteq
maps
