The following error messages might appear during
measurement.
A warning signal is heard and the light diodes flash
red. At the same time, a message appears in the
display indicating the type of error.
”Pins not pressed”
Not all of the pins have been pressed thoroughly on
the sample surface (e.g. curvature too high,
instrument has been moved during measurement).
Confirm the message by pressing the scroll wheel
or the operate button and repeat the reading.
”Ambient light”
Appears when ambient light enters the
measurement aperture. Confirm the message by
pressing the scroll wheel or the operate button and
repeat the reading.
