3. Power supply
Before operating the instrument for the first time,
please read the operating instructions and pay
attention to the safety instructions in Chapter 1.
Power supply
The measurement unit can be operated either with
rechargeable NiMH batteries or with an extenal
power supply.
Rechargeable batteries
To insert or change the batteries, open the lid of the
battery compartment (1) and take out the battery
box as shown aside (2).
To operate the instrument, the battery compartment
must be fitted with four 1.2-V NiMH rechargeable
batteries.
