Chapter 4
How Operators Work with
Notifications
Introduction
When operators discover that information is missing on a customer document in the
Ascent Xtrata Pro Validation module, they will click the Validation form “Send
Notification” button that you configured in Chapter 3. Once the button is clicked, the
Business Interaction Server - Notification window appears, listing the “reasons” that
you configured in Chapter 2 for notifying the customer.
This chapter provides information regarding how operators will use the Business
Interaction Server - Notification window. Operators can access Help for the window
by pressing F1 or clicking the window’s Help button.
Working with Notifications
This section provides steps for operators to complete when information is missing
from a document.
X To send a customer notification

In the Ascent Xtrata Pro Validation module, open a customer document and
begin processing it.

If information is missing on the document, click Send Notification (or
whichever button your system administrator has configured for you to use).
The Business Interaction Server - Notification window appears.
