Cleaning the Thermal Head

The Thermal Head in your machine needs to be cleaned periodically to ensure clear

received copy. How often depends on how much you use your machine. However,

we recommend that you clean the Thermal Head whenever you clean the Head Roller.

To clean the thermal head,

1. Open the Receiving Unit (Control Panel) by

pulling the latch button forward on the right

side panel, and swing the Receiving Unit

forward.

2* Wipe the surface of the Thermal Head Unit

gently with a soft cloth or gauze soaked

with ethyl alcohol. Be sure to use a clean

cloth since the thermal head unit can be

easily scratched.
