Each time DISPLAY MODE is pressed, the display mode of the LCD changes as follows;

• It is recommended to set the display mode to

“OFF" to conserve power or to prevent battery

consumption when an external TV set is con

nected.

For your reference:

•Turning the LCD display screen to OFF while

playing music CDs reduces power consump

tion, This measure also conserves battery
power when operating off the battery pack.

(Under these conditions, the battery pack pro

vides 4.5 hours of continuous playback when

playing music CDs.)

• Horizontal lines may appear on the screen

when the display mode is set to “ZOOM”: this

is normal.
