Player (Right-side view)
When this switch is slid toward the “HOLD” direction, the
HOLD function (for preventing errors in operation) is activated.
(If a function button is pressed when the HOLD function is ON,
“HOLD” is displayed on the screen and the STANDBY
indicator fiashes.)
Connect the battery pack [supplied or optionai (modei No.: DY-DB50EX)].
(See page 25.)
Note:
• Be careful not to touch the battery connector terminals. (Doing so may cause the termi
nals to become misshapen.)
Do not allow any metallic object to come into contact with the terminals. (Doing so could
damage the player.)
HOLD function:
The hold function ensures that even when a function button is inadvertently pressed while
the player is being carried, the function corresponding to the button will not be acknowl
edged. (It prevents the function buttons from being pressed during operation, so as not to
interrupt playback.)
