Forward direction
•The speed will be retained even after the
button is released.

Press SLOW/SEARCH in the still
picture mode.
Reverse direction

•The speed of slow-motion is slow at first.
When the button is pressed again, the
speed becomes faster. (Each time the
button is pressed, the speed increases
up to 5 steps.)
•Normal play is resumed when PLAY (t>)
is pressed.
Note:
• For Video CDs, slow-motion playback in
reverse direction is not possible.

1 Press STOP (□) after the
menu screen appears.
Press SKIP/SEARCH (
^>1) to select the preferred
track and press PLAY (O).
• In the case of the remote control,
press SKIP to select the preferred
track and press PLAY.
(Play begins.)
• Refer to the jacket etc. of the disc
concerned for the track numbers.
•Select “track 1" to start play from
the beginning of the disc.
•The NUMBER button on the remote
control unit can also be used for en­
tering the track numbers. (See page
21 for information on entering num­
bers.)
When numbers are entered by the
NUMBER button, pressing PLAY
([>) is not necessary.
□ To return to menu play
Press STOP (□) twice to stop playback
and press PLAY ([>).
(The menu is resumed on the screen.)
