Setting Up & Removing the Music
Stand
The PSR-18 is supplied with a music stand that can be attached to the in­
strument by inserting the two pegs extending from its lower edge into the
corresponding holes on the rear-panel of the instrument.
To remove the music stand, remove the pegs from the holes while leaning
the stand toward the keyboard.

Le PSR-18 est fourni avec un pupitre pouvant être fixé sur l’instrument
en introduisant les deux chevilles situées à la partie inférieure dans les trous
correspondant du panneau arrière de l’instrument.
Pour enlever le pupitre, retirer les chevilles des trous tout en inclinant le
pupitre vers le clavier.
Anbringen and Abnehmen des
Notenständers
Dem PSR-18 liegt ein Notenständer bei. Zum Anbringen des Ständers die zwei
Noppen an der unteren Kante in die beiden Löcher auf der Rückseite des Key­
boards einführen.
Zum Abnehmen den Ständer zur Klaviatur neigen und die beiden Noppen aus
den Löchern ziehen.
Colocación y extracción del atril
El PSR-18 se suministra con un atril que puede colocarse en el instru­
mento insertando las dos patas que salen de su esquina inferior en los
orificios correspondientes del panel posterior del instrumento.
Para sacar el atril, extraiga las patas de los orificios mientras inclina
el atril hacia el teclado.
Using Headphones or an External Sound

The Rear-panel HEADPHONES/AUX. OUT Jack □
A standard pair of stereo headphones can be plugged in Ьете for private practice or late-
night playing. The internal stereo speaker system is autom^ically shut off when a pair of
headphones is plugged into the HEADPHONES/AUX. OUT jack. The HEAD­
PHONES/AUX, OUT Jack can also be used to deliver the output of the PSR-18 to a keyboard
amplifier, stereo sound system, mixing console or tape recorder. Use the optional Yamaha
connecting cord to connect the HEADPHONES/AUX. OUT jack to your sound system.

Hier können gewöhnliche Stereo-Kopfhörer zum ungestörten Üben und zur Wahrung
des Hausfriedens eingesteckt werden. Die eingebauten Lautsprecher werden automa­
tisch stummgeschaltet, sobald ein Kopfhörer an die HEADPHONE/AUX. OUT-Buchse
angeschlossen wird. Diese Buchse erlaubt außerdem des Anschluß des PSR-1 8 an ei­
nen Keyboard-Verstärker, ein Stereosystem, ein Mischpult oder einen Kassettenrekor­
der. Zum Anschließen an die HEADPHONES/AUX. OUT-Buchse sollte ein getrennt
erhältliches Yamaha Anschlußkabel verwendet werden.
