It allows you to supply your own cnords tor the Auto Bass Chord teature.

1. Slide the to the FINGERED position,
2. Select the desired rhythm in the normal way.
3. As soon as you play any chord in the FINGERED SECTION of the keyboard (to the
left of the FINGERED SECTION marker), the PSR-18 will automatically begin to play
the chord along with the selected rhythm and an appropriate bass line. The accompani­
ment will continue playing even if you release the Auto Bass Chord keys. When chang­
ing chords, be sure to release all keys before playing a new chord,

4. Press the (!□ button to stop the accompaniment.
The PSR-18 will accept the following chord types:
■ Major
■ Minor
■ Major seventh
■ Minor seventh
■ Seventh
■ Diminished
■ Augmented
• All other FINGERED mode operations are the same as in the SINGLE FINGER mode.
Automatic Ad-Lib Phrases ED
ADLIB
Press the | | button briefly while the AUTO ACCOMPANIMENT is running to
' produce a short “ad-lib” phrase that can be used as a “fill-in” for your performance. The
AD-LIB button can be held to produce longer ad-lib lines.
• if the AD-LIB button is pressed in the NORMAL mode, a C-major ad-lib phrase will be produced.
Song Accompaniment
The PSR-18 can play the accompaniment for 15 different songs that you can play along
with, listed above the keyboard.

SELECT
To select and start playback of a song accompaniment^ hold the C=l button and
press the black key on the keyboard corresponding to the desired song. The selected song
will begin with a two-measure count-in.
When a song accompaniment is first started, the melody for that song will also begin play­
ing. If you want to mute the melody and leave only the accompaniment in order to play
along, press the

Die FINGERED-Betriebsart ist ideal, wenn Sie bereits wissen, wie Akkorde gegriffen
werden. Sie können in diesem Fall eigene Akkorde zur automatischen Baß/Akkord-
Begleitung spielen.
1. Schieben Sie den

-Schalter in die FINGERED-Position.
2. Wählen Sie einen Rhythmus wie gehabt.
3. Sobald Sie im Manualbereich FINGERED SECTION (links von der Markierung FIN­
GERED SECTION) einen Akkord greifen, spielt das PSR-18 den Akkord passend zum
gewählten Rhythmus, begleitet von einer entsprechenden Baßzeiie. Die Begleitung
spielt auch nach Loslassen der für Baß/Akkord-Automatik angeschlagenen Tasten
weiter. Für Akkordwechsel müssen Sie vor Greifen des neuen Akkords alle ange­
schlagenen Tasten freigeben,

4. Zum Stoppen der Begleitung drücken Sie die CD -Taste.
Das PSR-18 erkennt die folgenden Akkordtypen:
■ Dur
■ Moll
■ Dur mit großer Septime
» Moll-Septakkord
« Dur-Septakkord
■ Vermindert
■ Übermäßig
• Alle anderen Bedienungen in der FINGERED-Betriebsart entsprechen denen der SINGLE FINGER-
Betriebsart.
Phrasenautomatik ED
ADLIB
Drücken Sie die [ j -Taste kurz bei AUTO ACCOMPANIMENT-Betrieb, um ei­
ne improvisierte Phrase als kurzes Fill-in zu bekommen. Wenn Sie die Taste länger
drücken, bekommen Sie einen längeren Zwischentakt.
• Im NOR MAL-Bet rieb ruft Betätigung der AD LIB-Taste eine Phrase in C-Dur hervor.
Songbegleitung is
Das PSR-18 bietet Begleitung für 1 5 verschiedene Musikstücke, zu der Sie die Melodie
usw, dazuspielen können. Die Namen der Stücke sind über der Klaviatur angegeben.
RHYTHM,-SONG
SELECT
Zum Abruf eines dieser Stücke hält man die -Taste gedrückt und betätigt
die dem Stück entsprechende schwarze Taste. Der gewählte Song erklingt nach zwei
Takten zum Einzahlen.
