Trunk Link
Both tagged and untagged frames can be transmitted on this link. Trunk link allow for
multiple VLANs to cross this link.

Only untagged frames can be transmitted on this link. Access link is at the edge of the
network, where end stations attach.

5.4 Configuring Access Port
Access port only receives untagged or priority-tagged frames, and transmits untagged
frames.

Bridge 1
DUT#configure terminal
Enter the Configure mode.
DUT(config)#vlan database
Enter the VLAN database mode.
DUT(config-vlan)#vlan 2
Create VLAN 2
DUT(config-vlan)#exit
Exit VLAN database mode.
DUT(config)#interface eth-0-1
Enter the interface mode.
DUT(config-if)#switchport mode access
Set the switching characteristics of this interface to access
mode.
DUT(config-if)#switchport access vlan 2
Enable VLAN port access by specifying the VLAN ID 2 on
this interface.
DUT(config-if)#end
Exit to exec mode.
