The remaining assembly instructions are for power recliners only.
- To reduce the risk of serious injur y:
• Check the condition of the power transformer, electrical cords, plug
and connectors regularly. Keep the power transformer and electrical
cords away from heat sources. Never operate the unit with a
damaged power transformer, electrical cord, plug or connector.
Contact your La-Z-Boy ® dealer for ser vice.
7. Connect the Transformer Cord to the motor.
• Locate the two prong connector on the recline motor, under the recliner
seat (F IGURE 12).
• Connect the Transformer Cord receptacle with the two prong connector
on the recline motor. Push the connectors together until they are secured,
with no gaps between them (F IGURE 13).
8. Connect the Power Transformer to the Transformer Cord.
• Connect the Transformer Cord two prong connector with the Power
Transformer receptacle. Push the connectors together until they are
secured, with no gaps between them (F IGURE 14).
