7.1.6. Fan Slide-in module
The two system fans are integrated in a user-friendly, replaceable fan slide-in module (hot-swap) (see chapter 8.3 “Fan
Slide-in Module and Temperature Sensor”). The fan slide-in module (Fig. 9, pos. 12) can be replaced during operation
(see chapter 10.2 “Replacing the System Fans”).
7.1.7. Drive Bays
Depending on the ordered system configuration, your system can be equipped with up to three drives on the front side
and one internal drive (see Fig. 9, pos. 6, 7, 8 and 10):

Externally accessible 5.25" drive bay (shown with a DVD drive installed)

Externally accessible 5.25" drive bay (shown with a KISS DA 135)

One 3.5" drive bay for a internal SATA HDD or for a front accessible slim-line drive bay (shown
with an internal, not externally accessible HDD installed)
L4
Externally accessible 3.5" drive bay (shown with covering plate)
For KISS 4U Short V2 system configurations with a disk subsystem with three HDDs (KISS DA 335), the
drive bays L1, L2 and are occupied by this subsystem with removable HDDs.
