Your 10/100 Ethernet filter may have shipped with an external
fiber optic-to-Ethernet converter, and the fiber optic cables connected
internally. If so, skip step 2 and step 3 in the following instructions.
2. Disconnect the fiber optic
cables from the fiber
optic-to-Ethernet
converter. Plug the
cables into the internal
fiber optic connectors.
3. Remove the fiber
optic-to-Ethernet
converter from the
10/100 Ethernet filter.
4. Place the fiber
optic-to-Ethernet
converter in the same
location as the personal
computer.
5. Connect an Ethernet
cable from the computer
to the converter.
6. Connect two fiber optic cables to the converter and run the cables through the
feedthrough connectors.
7. Plug the fiber optic cables into the external fiber optic connectors on the
10/100 Ethernet filter.
