Section 11 - Outside 90° Corner SSG Unit Glazing : C. Adapter Installation
1. Apply L142 thermal isolator clip to the verticals and horizontals. Refer to Volume 2, page 11 of the S-8000 Unitized Curtain Wall Assembly Instructions for
more information.
2. Apply 17B7 SSG glazing adapter to the stack sill. Butt together the 17B7 at the corners. Slide the WC17 horizontal stack joint rain screen gasket into
position. Cut the gasket at a 45° angle with a serrated knife and leave a 1/4” gap at the corner for pressure equalization of the stack joint. It is not necessary
for the miter cut of the WC17 to be a precision cut. Refer to Volume 2, page 12 of the S-8000 Unitized Curtain Wall Assembly Instructions for more
information.
3. Insert HS32 setting blocks between the stack sill glazing adapters and the glass at quarter points, or as directed per the final approved shop drawings. Refer
to Volume 2, page 12 of the S-8000 Unitized Curtain Wall Assembly Instructions for more information.
