9. Slide in WC19 gasket and LC23 spacer into the gutter starting at the jamb end. LC23 spacer runs continuously and is flush with the ends of the gutter on the
jamb end and butts together at the corner. WC19 runs continuously, overhangs 3” on the jamb end, and wraps around the corner on one side approximately
3” to butt seals together. See Figure 9 below.
10. Clean the sealant contact surfaces of the gutters on the mitered ends with an approved solvent or cleaner. Apply a bed of sealant that will cover the
areas where the silicone splice sleeve will be applied.
11. Apply the silicone splice sleeve in two pieces. Smooth the splice down onto the gutter, forcing out all air bubbles.
12. Apply sealant around the edges of the splices and tool smooth and water tight.
